Looking through the albums to decide on my faves I realised there are some that I underestimated at the time. I seem to have a large number from Get Lucky, an album I thought was not outstanding at the time. Some of the songs have become classics however and it is surely one of his best solo albums.
On the other hand, despite being a double album Privateering has a poor showing with not a single song making my list. The title track nearly made it but I had to remove it to make the 20 tracks.
Tracker has been much criticised by myself but it fared better, saved by two outstanding tracks worthy of any album.
The latest thing features well but this is hardly a retrospective view as all the others are, so they may well change after a year or so. One Song At A Time is an instant classic though.
