yes, it could be an interview in a hotel room before a Hillbillie show. His dresscode is typically Hillbillie-style (not Mark's normal style) of those days.

They say in the video that they met Mark at a hotel just around the corner from where he lived.

Nice interview, I'd say. Nice to see and hear a version of Mark that's a bit quicker and more "alive" than he is now. (Age difference, I know.) He does come across a little "cocky" though, but I guess that's what superstardom for several years does to you.

Mark seems a different person these days to what he was in the 70s and 80s.   Even though he was a bit on the cocky side, I still adored him.   These days, even with his flaws, I like him a lot more!

Age and a happy family situation have changed him a lot, I think. He is mellower and appears kinder. I don't think he ever was a bad guy, but he always seemed to come across as laconic and indifferent when he was younger.

I think since interviews for his last album he appears different now.  Since he went solo in 1996 he seemed to mellow, but now he appears agitated with everything and grumpy.
