Maybe MK should play Two Young Lovers on his next tour. I think that it would fit to the setlist. Richard can do the solo. He's got a saxophone-player...

And for the rest, on his new album there are plenty songs to be performed live.  Put some others classics like Water of Love, Portobello Belle, Wild West End. Or The Man's Too Strong.

With this brand new album, MK can´t not left the chance of playing SEVERAL songs from it (not just 3-4)

A concert with two sets would be nice. But you know,  i´m a dreamer...

FIRST SET

1. Trapper man
2. Back on the dancefloor
3. Dovers road
4. Good on you son
5. When you leave
6. Nobody does that
7. One song at a time

TEN MINUTES PEE BREAK AND SECOND SET

8. Border reiver
9. What it is
10. Privateering
11. I used to could
12. Laughts and jokes
13. Haul away
14. Speedway

ENCORE

15. Boom like that
16. Piper to the end

ENCORE 2

17. Matchstick man
18. Going home

Al the end of the day, i´m not asking for something unrealistic or utopic. I only just ask for old representative songs (maybe Boom like that is the exception) and album songs that actually fit with the band capabilities. Nothing from Dire Straits or sountracks.

Few weeks ago i saw Jethro Tull in one of his 50 anniversary shows. An incredible show full of passion, energy, musical quality and respect for a half century musical career. When i was leaving the theatre i had the feeling that the setlist (something very well suited to the desiree of the old fans) were well suited to the price of the ticket (65 euros). It seemed cheap for a moment :p However, a good concert with a good selection of songs from a 30 album career.

On the other hand, when i attend to a MK show, rarely i have these feeling because i feel that a 1.50h show almost cloned from past tours with "comfort mode songs" and strange choices of weak songs is not wothy the price of the ticket.

You see that i critic a lot of things. But my criticism won´t stop me (never does). I´m gonna attend to the show one more time. Do you know about the moment you are seated and the lights go off while the band enter into the stage? I swear you that in that moment, setlist questions won´t have any space in my thoughts ;) Pure joy

Squeez Marble into second set and I am with you. They didn't do it last time in Sweden and I really want to hear it live, really like the live version more than the album version with all extra instruments etc.

Then Early Bird and GOYS.

That 12 minute Marbletown version will fade in comparison.

Anything would do as long as the set consists well above 50% of songs that haven’t been played at almost every concert for last few tours. And it would be nice if it consists fully of songs that really suit him nowadays, leaving out performances such as sultans which have become quite embarassing to be frank. For a long time I hoped tunnel of love would return, but I honestly believe he isn’t able to do that type of songs any kind of justice anymore. So I would suggest some truly great songs that haven’t been overdone last few tours such as So Far From The Clyde, In The Sky, Portobello Belle, Silver Eagle, Fade To Black, Your Own Sweet Way, One More Matinee, Why Worry, Lions, The Next Time I’m In Town, You And Your Friend, Are We In Trouble Now, Donkey Town, Radio City Serenade etc. And a more then a couple of new ones. Of course this ain’t gonna happen but I’m just thinking out loud what would be great....
