Would be interesting to hear the edit. I guess all the whistle intro is gone.
Does anybody have the radio edit of What It Is? Back in 2000 somebody recorded it of Italian radio (complete with Italian DJ!) and uploaded it as an MP3, I must have listened to that 100 times before I finally got the album, when I did, the album version sounded a bit bloated in comparison to the tight radio edit.
That was my first version of What It Is, too
I still must have the mp3 somewhere, plus various promo TV appearances with the edited versionon VHS
Pity the official video of "What It Is" seems to have disappeared from youtube. That version was edited, too. Oh by the way, what about the extended Mexican version? LOVE the extra verse. Ah, good ol' times
