Maybe they are offered by other ticket agencies.

You're right. These blocks are offered for example at ticketmaster

Have decided that I won't be going on this tour, so I hope that someone benefits by paying stupid money for the seats. Even Guy has said that prices are high and that demand is high. So good luck to you all and enjoy the show

Couldn't agree more... We are not going to attend this tour either....

I really do hope this will not be his final tour.
My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

It reminds me of all the new flagship phones that are coming out. Before it was just a phone. Expensive, but phone. Now you can get an iPhone for 1,500$ which is ridiculous for a phone. What's the future of live shows? 500$ for a single ticket? What a waste of money. Seems like artists really struggle to sell their music so they will take it all from their live audience.

I checked the german venues, as they are on public sale already. They really sell fast, although there are still good tickets available.

Fast??? There are plenty of seats available for the Cologne show, even on the floor...that's not fast. For example...P!NK sold out a stadium in 5 minutes this morning in Holland

I know but I didn’t expect that there are still so many fans and the tickets are just on sale for a couple of hours.
But you are right you can’t compare Mark to P!NK or Eminem where the tickets were  also gone within minutes for 75000 people  here.

they also do not tour so extensively. still, other type of audience.
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Funny thing is, 126 Euro would have made me make more efforts to maybe buy, but not 160. WTF.

Lucky for you, because for me even 100 € is like a psychological barrier.

Yes it's crazy to be honest for a non-show with not even video-screens, just boring old farts (having the best days behind them). Tickets should have become cheaper, not more expensive.  :wave  ;)
Won't go this time. I realized I can buy two good wooden bookshelves including shipping for the same amount of money as two Munich tickets. 'Nuff said.

So... If you look, a presale is open for Italy shows:

Lucca: https://tour.markknopfler.com/#/liveevents/3943/Mark-Knopfler-Lucca-Sat-Jul-13-2019
Milan: https://tour.markknopfler.com/#/liveevents/3906/Mark-Knopfler-Milan-Fri-May-10-2019

And looks like they offer rows 1-10, also known as "best seats". So what was the point of Fair Admission?

Was offered 2 Tickets for the Montreal show but $550CAD seems a little bit steep...

I bought those, there was no "Fair admission" for them last time I checked.
The funny thing is that we'll only know the seats in 2-3 weeks, thus well *after* the public sale begins.
I don't want to think negative but it would be epic if public sale buyers get to choose the seats they want (wherever they are) and then we get assigned to the remaining ones that we "reserved".

markknopfler.con indeed.
