Rejected for 2 seats / Los Angeles.
Will wait until January to be rejected for 2 seats / Denver.  ;D
Genuinely surprised by today's turn of events for all of us, because I woke up this morning expecting my "first five rows" as we've gotten in the past!

Thank you for using MarkKnopfler.com Fair Admission. Presale ticket demand for the show(s) you expressed interest in has exceeded our allotted inventory. Unfortunately, you were not successful in securing tickets through Fair Admission to the following show -  Los Angeles on 2019-09-22

I wonder if those asking for tickets for multiple venues are being automatically filtered out as potential resellers...?
These tickets are impossible to re-sell as you have to pick them up with proper picture id eg passport.Of course technically after you have picked up your ticket you can go outside and sell it but it wouldn't be worth the hassle to make £20-30.

I am used to go to 15-30 shows each tour. Filtered out to be a scalper? WTF They should know my name there!

I was rejected for LA also.  What a farce!

And to think I had recently stated how good presales are for Mark and how he's one of the best in the industry to make sure the real fans get the best tickets. First to worst with the snap of my fingers.

In a nutshell — no discounts, no first row, no seat selection, no nothing. But a HUGE commission fee. Never seen 35 € fees in my life before. So you guys who got rejected consider yourself lucky, because I feel strange. I generally tend to find positive in everything, so an average ticket is not bad at all, but I just don't understand why bother to "pre-register" for the ticket if it's an average ticket. My mind is a blank.

I agree with you, this is getting ridiculous.
If I realised that the chances were slim,
How come I'm so surprised when the tide rolled in

I’m able to get tickets for Amsterdam via the fair admission, but am in doubt to use it because of the seating: Floor Sections D to F, Rows 21 to 40

Wonder if I’ll be able to get better seats with the pre-sale or public sale.
Hey, don't forget your hat.

The biggest problem is that we did not know what kind of system this is and how many tickets are available. That sounded like super-extra-convenient-presale-option for fans. In addition, now it seems that these are not even the best seats...

Row 21 to 40 with this pre pre sale? I do not hope that they really had 40 rows of tickets available, otherwise not much good seats are left at the normal pre sale... i got my 3 tickets for Amsterdam rejected by the way. Lousy system, never expected such a mess like this.

I'm in for Amsterdam as well. Section D,E,F. Not gonna take it though, the extra costs are 16,85 Euro, which to me is a real scam. I'm going to try my luck in the regular sale on friday cause then I can choose my seats (which is not the case in the presale either). In my previous mk.com presales experiences the people who got tickets by regular sale had better seats than me in presale

If you decide to wait for the regular presale we can compare and see if they are telling the truth. Let me know!
