Introducing MarkKnopfler.com Fair Admission
MarkKnopfler.com will continue to offer the same “best seat” pre-sales for the Down The Road Wherever tour.
However, a new service from MarkKnopfler.com, Fair Admission, allows fans to sign up to purchase tickets prior to the regular “best seats” ticket presales. Simply create your Fair Admission account here, select your show and number of tickets and we’ll email you a link to check out on Thursday, October 25th. The registration window closes 11:59 PM PDT on Wednesday, October 24th.
With Fair Admission, you can take your time checking out when it is convenient for you and you will be seated before buyers in the regular presale from the best inventory MarkKnopfler.com has to offer.
Fair Admission is a premium service designed to make your presale experience more convenient, enjoyable and fair. Those who decide to take advantage of Fair Admission will be charged an additional $3, £2.30, €2.60, or $4CAD per ticket at checkout. That fee helps us provide this service to our fans. For those who elect not to participate in the Fair Admission program, traditional MarkKnopfler.com Best Seats Presales will still be conducted as with past tours on Monday, October 29th with remaining pre-sale inventory. The Registration Period
The Fair Admission Registration Period for all shows opens when Mark’s tour is announced (now, if you are reading this) and closes at 11:59 PM PDT on Wednesday, October 24th.
How To Register for Fair Admission
Click here to create your free Fair Admission account using email, Facebook or Twitter. You will be sent a verification email to confirm your email address that must be clicked before you can select tickets for shows.
Select the show(s) you are interested in seeing and the number of tickets you’d like to purchase.If you would like to register for the chance to purchase tickets to additional shows, you will be presented with the option to do so. If not, you can select "Logout" and you will be signed out of your account.
NOTE: If, after you register, you decide that you would like to change, add to or delete your selections, you can log into your account and make changes at any time until the pre-registration window closes at 11:59 PM PST on October 24th.
The Order Period: October 25-27
All that register for Fair Admission will receive an email on October 25th.
If your ticket request can be accommodated, you will receive an email with instructions and links to purchase. Alternately, you will receive an email notifying you if we are unable to fill your request.
If there are insufficient pre-sale tickets available to meet the Fair Admission requests for any concert, pre-registrations for that concert will be filled at random.
Notes About Purchasing:
Your shopping cart can only be completed once so do not share your link;
If your link is invalidated or expires for any reason, you will need to participate in traditional MarkKnopfler.com presales to try and purchase tickets;
The fee for the Fair Admission program is based on the location of the event and is $3, £2.30, €2.60, or $4CAD per ticket and is only charged when you have made a successful ticket purchase through the system;
