Woah, that video of MK being hounded was very uncomfortable... Looked like there were some genuine fans and then the paparazzi 'Crows' shouting 'MAK MAK'
Why some can't respect that he's signed enough items and wants to walk away was cringeworthy...
I now know why he is reluctant to sign.... I obviously got lucky when I met him and he signed 3 items for me. I didn't hang around like some of those people did.... Grrrr

So true. Seeing this I can understand now that he doesn’t stop anymore for the risk of being hunted by a bunch of idiots
If i was a Fender guitar, Fender painted red...

Especially that fat bearded guy at the end where it was totally clear that it was over and who runs like he is one beer short of a six pack...

Virtually every video it see of people asking for autographs etc is really uncomfortable and always makes me think how uncomfortable it must be for many/most famous people - if that was me I would isolate myself - be on guard, be wary etc all the time. Why people have to be so weird is beyond me - a real pack mentality that feels tense to me rather than anything pleasant or joyful. Gives me the creeps so goodness knows what it does to those on the receieving end....
imagine how it must be for someone like dylan, where even the stars themselves want something from him, and this for over 50 yrs now, now wonder he went "crunchy"
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Funny, I seen Ricardo outside the RAH years back and hunters (no pun intended) chased him for autographs.  He took his time and spoke to a group of people.  Seemed a really nice chap.  Joe Brown was about the same door as he was a special guest that evening.

On another occasion, also at the RAH, John McCusker came and stood right next to me, smoked a fag and made a phone call!  No one bothered him at all but he was wearing a woolly hat so you probably wouldn't have recognised him unless he was really close.
"...and I blew up the radio in pretty short order."

I used to work in the music business - I frequently saw performers harrassed - I worked a few times with George Harrison and it was a real eye opener - every night he was in the venue there was a huge gathering of people wanting to see him or get him to sign something. The oddest ones, for me, were the people who brought gifts in for him - not for him to sign but things for him to have and keep. I once collected a large pile of books, one of which was a "how to play guitar" book......intended for him - suffice to say he did not want them...some of the people were pretty creepy and George often looked pretty spooked and twitchy.

Well, that's highly possible - he had signed autographs in the cold for around 4 minutes!

I'm sorry, but what a bunch of idiots some those guys. Ugh.

a very creepy and awful Situation in this video  >:( I‘m glad that I didnt ask him for an autograph and pic and ne a Pain in his neck, when I med him 2 years ago in London.

Ha, listening to Good on You Son, I had to laugh out loud at the middle part – this time, LE, he gets he phrasing right on "cut, slice it, chop it up - to the rythm of a cockney rebel".  ;D

I'm still quite sure that the album version of that part was pasted together from two takes, and not quite perfectly so (which is astonishing for a perfectionist like Mark). But whatever, I do have MY version now (especially since it doesn't have any synths on it, haha).

I must say I like that stripped down version of Good On You Son much better than the album one. It really works in this modest arrangement.
...Well, he's a big star now but I've been a fan of his for years. The way he sings and plays guitar still bring me to tears...

1 more adjustment like getting rid of the intro which has nothing to do with the rest of the song and it works 100%, still it's only a 6+ song for MK standards imo
