Here we go:

Something weird going on with Mark's hands. Like a tremor of sorts.

Since you brought that up, yes, I've been noticing that for a while now but never said anything because maybe it would have sounded bad to one's ears.

Which part of the video do you notice the tremor?   I have studied it and can't see anything trembly.   ::)

Take a look at the little solo from around 1:38 to 1:48. To me his movements seem rather stiff and uncertain as it were. It's not like he has Parkinson's disease or something. Actually maybe "tremor" or "trembly" were the wrong words altogether, and I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong. But this is the impression I have. Something has changed. But again, it may just be that he's getting older.

He comes from the North so he's used to the cold.  Glasgow's always cold and wet!

Well, apart from the video being a bit blurry at around 1.38, I didn't notice anything untoward.

Well, that's highly possible - he had signed autographs in the cold for around 4 minutes!

I'm sorry, but what a bunch of idiots some those guys. Ugh.

Virtually every video it see of people asking for autographs etc is really uncomfortable and always makes me think how uncomfortable it must be for many/most famous people - if that was me I would isolate myself - be on guard, be wary etc all the time. Why people have to be so weird is beyond me - a real pack mentality that feels tense to me rather than anything pleasant or joyful. Gives me the creeps so goodness knows what it does to those on the receieving end....

Neither do I !! Except for the fact that he plays and sings wonderfully

I always laugh at the "Maak!", "Maak" shouts from the people around Mark.

About the guitar used on Romeo, it's not the first time Mark plays this song on normal acoustic
he did it during STP promo tour
can't find it on YT, but the version is avalailble on the 2000 promo tour bootleg : it's on Craig Kilborn Show 29-11-2000
only guitar and piano and the guitar doesn't sound national

Its not a normal acoustic, but a Dobro Mark got as a gift from Jerry Douglas. :) It has a resonator cone :)

yes I know. By "normal acoustic", I meant that it contains wood, unlike the National

By the way, Mark has his Les Paul tuned down half-step again.

it seems like the signature model, not the original 58, right ?

Certainly looks like it. The original ‘58 is more worn than that.

Seems to be a reissue, more flame than the real 58.

With regard to the fans, two things:

I was surprised there were so many people - professional autograph people? Anyone checked eBay?

Secondly, very rude to ask him to sign more than one item IMO but this may relate to my first point.

Woah, that video of MK being hounded was very uncomfortable... Looked like there were some genuine fans and then the paparazzi 'Crows' shouting 'MAK MAK'
Why some can't respect that he's signed enough items and wants to walk away was cringeworthy...
I now know why he is reluctant to sign.... I obviously got lucky when I met him and he signed 3 items for me. I didn't hang around like some of those people did.... Grrrr
