1 song seems quite 'longer' than the other 2, right?

It doesn't mean a thing really...

he should have two test pressings, one with sides a/b (or 1/2) and other with sides c/d (3/4)

In order to continue with the talking...  :lol

We can see one side with three tracks, so I guess the record has a minimum of 11-12 songs. Tracker had two vinils, one with three tracks per side, the other had three in one side and two in the other, if they are cutting three songs per side, they would be 12 songs in total, unless some of the songs are shorter and one or two of the side have 4 songs in it...

However, Privateering had 5 songs per side, as it had 20 songs, I think that could be related to the speed of the record, 45" or 33", I'm not sure

Obviously, the next record is not going to be the case, as we know for sure than one of the vinyl has three songs, and logical says Guy would had taken the photo when playing the first side  ;D

So my bet is, 11 songs  :think

The info we get out of his posting is that he has "just" a test pressing without any artwork , not the finished product ready to hit the stores.
To me it is more than just a slight delay...

A test pressing means the record is in the factory already to start with the production. Just that.

Well, it could be more. If the vinyl is in the factory means that probably the artwork etc etc is ready too...

The factory send the test pressing to MK and co to get the  :thumbsup and then they start the production.

Yes, but I thought they were already more advanced in the process.
What I had thought was that Guy was listening to the finished product when he told us about it on his forum some days ago.
That they are "only" at the point of getting the "go ahead" from the MK camp to start the production and then the distribution of the final product means to me that some more time will pass until we can get our hands and ears on it.
Patience is a virtue, they say.

It's Disc A, you can see that vague on the label on the vinyl.

Actually, looking at the size of track 1, 2 and 3, yes, it does really means a thing, I was wrong...

It means that if the average lenght of the tracks is similar to track 2 or 3, there can be 4 or even 5 tracks in one of the sides...

Actually starting the production is good news. We know that the record is not going to be released until later october or november so, having the go means that the records would be ready in september, press copies is quite fast, one or two months in advance of the release date, to start with distribution at the correct time.
