I realized today that I am not really waiting anymore. I lost interest somehow. There is this 5 % chance that it will NOT be boring and disappointing. The rest is a joke really.

+1000

excatly same felling here
I surprrsed myself lsats weeks for not checking AMIt every day like I did before
I am now in a french FB rock radio group and we talk about rock music in general, and I am far far more addicted to it than AMIT....
That hurts.....

sent from my Samsung Galaxy 9+ via tapatalk

don't want to hurt at all  :)
just that attending new MK album si not exciting for me anymore
but I still like to talk about him  :) (and we talk a lot about him and DS in that FB rock group, but not only of course)
Was talking about amit

sent from my Samsung Galaxy 9+ via tapatalk

Yes I understood. But I must admit it : there is nothing new and really exciting for months now.
So I'm not very found anymore of coming every day to check that...there are no news
No offense to everyone, I am sure that there are a lot of nice people here, but when we have almost nothing to discuss, I am sorry to say that I find the forum boring these days, and that's nobody's fault, it's just my feeling  :)
Only kidding Mon Ami. .

I am waiting with great anticipation. More and more every day. And I am very happy that we have so much joy in front of us. New album, local hero, part two. Mark is almost 70 years old. The future is unknown. The years will come when we will miss these moments.

I'm happy with Clapton releasing that Christmas record. Gives me hope that Mk is not releasing another one like that, at least this time.

Releasing a Christmas album is not in the style of MK:)

Yes indeed. I cannot see any other main reasons for EC to release it than commercial ones. I mean how many Christmas albums are there? The idea of making a Christmas
album - really driven by artistic ideas? Blues christmas? Bob's album had some interesting ideas, in fact I love it, with the polka and stuff.

MK has no commercial ideas, the way he releases his albums and tour dates cleary shows that. He is amateurish at the most with that stuff. So I guess we will never
see an Mark Knopfler Christmas album.
