It all depends on the journalist who asks questions.
I can not wait for the questions about the RRHOF.  :think

That will be a no-go area agreed prior to the interview.   ;D

Right. No questions about David, Russia and RRHOF. What else?

Family stuff in general.

Or maybe Mark doesn't have the heart to ask for better questions - just like he didn't have the heart to ask his dad for an amplifier.  ;)

To be honest. When MK gets to talk about the roots of his music he makes great interviews. Like around the time of GH.

And I don't count the story about how Chet Atkins, like Mark, also fell asleep while playing the guitar

Has anyone ever brought this topic up on Guy's forum out of interest?  Just curious to know whether the band are aware of how bored to death we are!  I just don't get excited with interviews now like I did years ago unless I know there is going to be live music.  Sometimes I don't even bother unless someone posts it on here.

Well, I think the 10 minute tv interviews are more 'targeted' on the audience that isn't too familiar with Mark's solo work, and not so much on his established fan base - and that's probably the reason the same questions are asked over and over again.

Fortunately, there is also quite a bit of more in depth material, like 'Guitar Stories' or 'Life in Songs', the album docs, etc..
Hey, don't forget your hat.

This is why my expectations for the Hansen documentary are sky high.

If we take seriously that "two months in advance announcement" rule, MK new record would be released on October 19th as sooner, if we get the announcement this week...

It's only a guessing, of course.

Privateering was announced 13 weeks before it was released. I hope they wil not do the same again.
Somehow i have the feeling that we get some news like almost always somewhere in september.

Perhaps it's gonna be a multiple announcement comprising new album, musical and doc. That would explain the mistery and the delay. To be honest I'm kinda over it - have been for a while actually. It's like when you get tired of waiting for the right woman and decide to have fun with the wrong ones.

The musical had been announced already and the tickets were on sale, at least in Edinburgh.

Tickets for the musical in London will be on sale in September and the cd of the music won't be released until the musical is premiere, according to Guy.
