Hi all,
Just received new e-mail from Emily. It's a little bit better, but not more than that.
Here is the info I got:

I just spoke to Jacki's friend.  The news is brief but a bit better this morning.
 
Jacki had a good night.  The doctors are now having to give her less oxygen than yesterday (presumably that means that her lung function has improved).
 
Keep those powerful and positive messages flowing to Jacki!

Come on people, all positive energy towards Jacki, maybe she can feel the energy flying towards her from all over the world, she needs it!

Come on Jacki!! You can do it, girl!! The distance is not important now. No matter I'm in the other part of the globe, I think of you and you are in my heart and thoughts all the time.

  Thanks for the info Ingrid. Keep Jacki in your thoughts and prayers folks. I paused several times yesterday and tried to pray and think about a positive day for Jacki and Ingrid's message seems to have shown a small improvement.

Hi all,

Just received news from Emily.
Jacki had a good night, she is breathing a little more on her own now and her vital signs are stable.

The CD's started to arrive and her friends and family are trying to have some playing in her room even though Jacki is still sedated. Come on people, keep sending cards, CD's or whatever. Keep praying and sending positive energy. All of this will give her strength to fight and keep fighting. Hopefully she will improve a little day by day and not fall back again. There's a long way to go, but this news gives hope.

And another update from Emily, thanks to both Emily and Jacki's friend who is informing Emily every day.

Overall, Jacki's condition is stable with a couple of milestones (every step counts!): she is now on 50% oxygen and the doctors have stopped the blood pressure medication.  LOL, the nurse described Jacki as 'cruising' this morning.  Jacki is still sedated and the doctors plan to keep her in this state for at least the next couple of days.  Also a friend of Jacki's from Connecticut, USA will be visiting her.

So we keep on hoping and praying. And wishing Jacki all the strength she needs, and that's a lot!

Emily e-mailed me good news.

Sometimes, doctors change their plans.  Jacki was taken out of sedation!  When her friend said her name, Jacki responded by opening her eyes but she was unable to really focus; it might take a bit of time for her to 'be with it'.  The x-rays show that her lungs are clearing and the oxygen she is receiving is now down to 45%; the doctors are hopeful that the breathing tube will soon be removed.  She had a low fever last night but this morning it is normal.
 
Those wonderful wishes are working!

I agree with this last line. Our prayers and thoughts and wishes help!

Thanks my friend. I feel it like a duty to keep you all updated. I am very happy it's a little better with Jacki, it improves the quality of my holidays.
I will send Emily your e-mail, so you can take this little job from me for 1 1/2 week. It's not a big  job, as Emily already wrote: no news is good news. So there won't be e-mails every day as long as she is stable.
