Thank you Ingrid, I have been thinking of her whilst I was away and hoped for better news.  I know we are all sending our thoughts and prayers.  My fingers are crossed too!

Just like all of you I think about Jacki also every day! I am very worried and hope she will be strong enough to continue fighting! 

I hope she will hold on and will be able to leave the ICU again as soon as possible!

It has been a pretty long time you heard from me, but no changes till then! But now ..... some better news:

Finally, some very positive news to report.  The docs removed Jacki

  Thanks Ingrid. I must say I was starting to think Jacki was struggling after being admitted back into the ICU. Let's hope she has a steady improvement from now on with no more reversals....

I do hope that she has turned the corner.   This has been a very rough road for her.   I'm looking forward to the day that she can read all the messages of love and support everywhere.

Great news! Let's hope Jacki can keep progressing this time. I do pray for her every night.

  Again a positive update, fingers crossed, prayers, positive thoughts, let it all flow to Jacki that this will be the definitive turnaround:

There is more positive news.  Jacki was transferred out of the ICU late yesterday afternoon to a regular room.  Per Becky, she in great spirits and is very motivated begin working again with the physical therapists to regain her strength.  Her new room # is 4614 (see above for the hospital address).
 
Keep those best wishes, prayers and Karma flowing all the way to Nebraska!

I will be away for little over a week, leaving to Iceland next wednesday, Ian agreed to take this little (and let's hope positive) job from me again. Again thanks to Emily and Becky who keep us updated all the time.

  Hi again. I'm filling in for Ingrid again and am happy to be able to post some GOOD NEWS about Jacki, just in from Emily. Looks like our wishes and prayers have helped over the past couple of months so keep up the positive karma for Jacki as she enters the next phase of her recovery and rehabilitation.

What we have been waiting for - Jacki was transferred earlier today to a rehabilitative hospital that will focus on her respiratory issues; once these have been seen to, she will then go to another center which specializes in physical therapy for her leg.

All I know at the present is that she very much prefers being in this new facility to the hospital. I am hopeful that more details will follow soon.

  Saturday and the news continues to be good.....

Emily received another email from Becky which is below:-

Jacki is happy in her new surroundings and with all of the staff that help her. Her spirits are good and she is feeling very motivated. Her therapy went really well this morning. Jacki knows that she needs to pace herself so as not to overdo anything.

Please keep those good wishes and positive Karma flowing straight to Nebraska!

  News from Nebraska continues to be good!!!

Ingrid will be back tomorrow so this will be my last post with the latest news from Emily for now. I'm certain that the next time Ingrid will be away, Jacki will be right back to fighting fit again and back here on the forum.
