Mark stole ALL the songs from this guy!

Sorry for the clickbait title, I couldn't resist 

Basically, a couple years ago I stumbled across a website of a guy claiming that he was the actual author of all the Dire Straits songs (probably the lyrics, I don't remember) and Mark stole everything without giving him credit.

He was clearly completely nuts 
However I'd like to read again that website to have some fun, but I'm not able to find it anymore. I'm wondering if any of you saw it too and can find the URL.

I'm usually good at search engines but this time I had no luck 
I'm not sure I can trust my memory, but I think it had a dark-ish background and looked a lot like amateur websites of the early 2000s.

Oh, by the way, this was me, the character in the song Money For Nothing. I mean I'm the guy who was delivering these microwave ovens and stuff. I remeber it as if it were only 33 years ago. Even though I hadn't been born in 1985 yet — this happens sometimes and it was me, I promise.

That's actually him. I also found this topic here on AMIT about him.

On a serious note, whatever you do don't engage with Mr Marshal  at all. I made the mistake of attempting to engage with him and as soon as I questioned his motives and silly story he became very nasty. He made threats against me and even went as far as contacting my employer and accusing me of abuse (I work with children) In the end I had to get the police involved and he basically tried to ruin me!

By all means read his rantings but I wouldn't go any further....

Thanks  Eddie, makes you realise how much info we leave lying around on the internet. He got my work details form an old LinkedIn account and it all went from there. He's a very ill man in my opinion. He went to the trouble of trying to harass my daughter and wife as well, didn't work in the end though and he had a surprise visit from a man in uniform. Haven't heard a peep from him since, although he maintains his blog by writing some ridiculous drivel once every 6 months or so when his meds wear off!

I'm glad you got rid of him - and I hope you managed to clear up everything at work and within your family. I've come across some pretty crazy people in my life but what that man did to you is beyond comprehension.
