It’s probably a way of making some money from the RRHOF. Their might be some minor interest in the band/MK when its broadcast in the States.

Guy now:

Q: "Hello Guy, just to your and our knowledge. Is this website any kind of official? They claim it is. Also, is not secured (https) when asking for people´s personal data."

A: "No, of course it's not. There is NO official DS band website as the band no longer exists, just the many tribute and fan sites. Be careful out there."

Guy's answer is now changed to only: "Checking".
It's the end of a perfect day..,.

Lesson of the day: Guy is NOT ALWAYS the PERSON TO ASK...

New answer: "Yes, it is run by the same folks who administer MK's site and social media."

He just needed to do a very simple Whois lookup, it takes 1 second, like using Google

I think it is nice that we can ask him, and he made an honest reply and listened to us  :) How cool it will be if the ceremony and this domain can open the eyes and ears to new listeners, 26 years after the last DS tour.

Events the last weeks have made me realize I like this forum and MK waaaay too much to keep away  :)

Interesting. It is now a form to sign up for some type of an email subscription list. We already know both sites are registered to the same company, and the confirmation email gives a Toronto address down in the fine print, as does MK.com if I am not mistaken.

Maybe MK will surprise us and will announce after the Hall of Fame introduction one final reunion tour. Why all of a sudden is there after all those years an official website ?? And if the site is run by the people of MK it would be pretty logical. Why shouldn´t Guy be so mysterious about all the recording sessions  since the last tour. If you spend so much time in the studio for the "new album" and a musical which is going to run in 2019 there should be more.

You know better. The only thing that will happen is that DS perhaps will play a few songs at RRHOF.
And that is quite unique if that is the case after more then 25 years. You know long it takes for MK to make a new album. And do you have any idea how much work goes in making songs for a musical?
There is no more, i'm sure

Call me cynical but the only reason for this website can be for money-making purposes.  Therefore I would wager that the so-called secret project has something to do with DS.  Perhaps previously unreleased material is what they have been working on, and this website can be used for internet sales/promotion etc.  I wouldn't get too excited about a reunion.

But maybe this is the only way for Mark to rejuvenate himself after "the best tour ever"? Maybe it actually is... Honestly any refresh will do.

Perhaps there will be some (new) stuff availible after the RRHOF event in april. Another greatest hits cd/dvd or perhaps they found a live concert from many years ago they dusted up a little bit. Count me in for a live recording from the BIA tour  ;D
