For sure. But I don't think the tapes are still exist somewhere, I can't recall anyone is DS who might be thinking about saving their legacy. Unfortunately for us  :(

They should be in MK or Universal vaults.

Almost 30 shows were officially recorded

They probably have all the raw recordings on a shelf somewhere. Not only from that tour, from other tours as well. I dare say MK has more than 200 shows that could be released on bluray if he wanted to, including DS and his solo stuff. Of course all of them would need to go through the same process that Alchemy did. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

I am not expecting anything from someone who released On the Night without Sultans Telegraph Tunnel and Planet,
most absurd musical decision ever

Not all of them where filmed. But still, I would really enjoy an extensive CD boxset.

we already have official stuff from OES tour.
I'd rather like official stuff from the BIA tour. Apart live aid, it's the only tour which don't have any official release :

- 78-79 : we have live at the BBC, and old grey whistle test and Rainbow december 79 (BBC Arena) on Alchemy bonus
- 80-81 : we have TOL on live at the BBC. ok it's not enough, but still we have something
- 82-83 : we have Alchemy
- 85-86 : we have nothing except live aid which is not really a gig from DS tour
- 91-92 : we have OTN
- 96 : we have a night in london ans Sultans of swing bonus CD
- 2001-2002 : we have ragpicker's dream bonus CD (ok just few songs, but at leats we have something)
- 2005 : we have official downloads
- 2006 : we have Real live raodrunning
- 2008 : ok, second tour with nothing official
- 2010 : we have USB sticks
- 2011-2012 : I don't count this one as it is not really a proper MK solo tour
- 2013 : we have USB sticks
- 2015 : we have USB sticks

so if Mark decided to release old stuff (which I doubt) I would far prefer some BIA tour stuff, rather than OES tour.
BIA tour is the only one that is missing from ofiicial releases in DS history (again, Live aid is not from the "tour")

Fully agree JF.  It's incredible to think that in the era when DS were arguably the biggest band in the world they didn't think to document this in any way.  This was an important tour in the history of rock music and there is no official release!  Absolutely incredible.

Indeed.
Wembley 85 is a hell of a show, with most powerful versions of the songs. special mention to TOL, PI, MFN, Sultans and especially BIA. I know most people prefer Mandela version of BIA,
and it is indeed a great version, but the 85 one was a killer: the Les Paul screaming sound is better than the Pensa, the bad-ass 80s' synth are haunting, and the rocking ending, never heard since...
This concert should have been officially released. Same for Rockpalast (pure raw early DS) and Dortmund 80 (great experimentation on Lions and News).

BIA tour would be nice of course but we do have everything about it already from bootlegs

OES tour, we don't have any Tunnel and Planet SBD recordings

USB sticks are nice of course, but the quality is questionable in some cases and extremely questionable in other cases,
I have never heard a Pensa sound like a 100 euro guitar like in those USB sticks

I hope MK starts to release live concerts like Bruce Springsteen does. DS and MK solo stuff. And I would love to se some complete recordings from the OES tour with TOL, PONO and WICTY! :)

If you take the regular setlist during the OES tour from the may 1992 Nimes & Rotterdam shows and add the rare songs played during these shows and adding Planet and Iron Hand you could getting this great show / tour document.

1. Calling Elvis
2. Walk Of Life
3. Heavy Fuel
4. Romeo And Juliet
5- Planet Of New Orléans (from  '91)
6. The Bug
7. Private Investigations
8. Sultans of Swing
9. Your Latest Trick
10. Fade To Black (Nimes may 21)
11. When It Comes To You (Nimes may 21)
12. I Think I Love You Too Much (Rotterdam may 30)
13. You And Your Friend (Rotterdam may 31)
14. Iron Hand (from 91)
15. On Every Street
16. Two Young Lovers
17. Tunnel Of Love (rotterdam may 30)
18. Telegraph Road
19. Money For Nothing
20. Brothers In Arms
21. Solid Rock
22. Wild Theme

Planet of New Orleans was played twice during the Paris concerts which were recorded but not used.  Iron Hand was also performed.

Yeah, really heartbreaking to compare OTN with what it could have been.
I think save maybe for Sultans which had a nice bridge and TOL which was interesting on the Pensa, all the songs older than the OES album were played better in previous tours (Damn useless pedal steel guitar !). OTN was essentially interesting for the OES album songs. CE, OES, YAYF... That's about it. PONO and IH would have been essential. Can't understand Mark's decisions sometimes.
