I guess so.

Bad that the tickets go on sale solo much in advance without any tour announcement. For all of us travellers, it would had been great to combine tour and musical.

It'd be a real bummer if he played next door at the Usher Hall the following night!  :lol

What are people's plans? I'm going to try to get the first night, just in case it's the actual premiere.

I have a friend who is a musicals expert and she just told me this:

First nights are never the premiere it’s always at least a few weeks after as they need to see how an audience reacts and usually change stuff but there is a chance that he would be there for the first preview,

I don't know honestly... Seems like attending the premiere is a really difficult task as you had predicted already.
Right now there's tickets starting from Tuesday 26 March 2019 and nothing nor about 23 of March, nor about previews.

I'm trying for the 9th, 10th or 11th April, because it gives time to settle down and iron out any problems there may be.  It would be great if a premiere was on any of those dates!   ;)

I was going to try for the 23rd (1st night), failing that the 24th.  It would be nice if there were a good few of us together from AMIT though so I might go for the 9th and meet up with Val.  She'll like that! ;)

It can actually be good when they make mistakes in plays from my experience; gives some audience interaction with the actors.  I wouldn't worry about ironing out problems.  In any case the Lyceum is very professional and handle productions all year round.

Yes, I would like meeting you again very much dmg!   :)  I'll try for the 9th April firstly and I'm hoping for a seat at the front of the Grand Circle, if possible.   :)

Hi  ;D
So the premiere was announced  for March 23rd and we can buy tickets for the 26th...
I surely missed something.  :hmm

Unless their plan is to put on sale premiere tickets last minute tomorrow -as a strategy -  we're done.

So I'll probably try the first available Saturday  ;)

I'll try last Saturday which is also the last day in the hope when the tour is announced it might coincide with the start of the tour...

It's just a bet, a blind bet.

Done!   I hoped for 9th April, but it said there was no online booking for that date, so tried 10th April and was successful - Grand Circle Row C, seats 13 and 14  :)

I've just booked, but each day seems only to have the worst tickets available - it's inconceivable that all others have sold! It's a choice between Upper Circle or Restricted View Grand Circle. I've gone for Grand Circle, but will try and upgrade at some point when more tickets are available.
