If you want to see the Lyceum I managed to drop by during one of the open days they have across Scotland where various buildings not usually open to the public open their doors.  They were performing Alice In Wonderland at the time, hence some of the props.  It is an important Festival venue too and last time I was there was during the Festival last August when I saw the play Rhinoceros.

She sounds like Scottish version of Emmylou Harris lol :lol

Looks like a small place, I hope there are many dates for the play, I guess that getting tickets for the premiere is going to be very very difficult...

Yep.  Doesn't really feel that small when you're inside but it seats only 658.  I'd say it feels more spacious than the Playhouse which seats around 3000!  As of yet we don't know how long it will run for at the Lyceum.  Plays and musicals can go on runs of a few weeks there.

That's what I understood, that the play will be in Edinburgh for a short period and then move to London...

It reminds me a little of Karin Carpenter's voice.

So pleased to hear that Karen Matheson is going to be singing in the musical.  I have seen her many times as part of Capercaillie and I'm sure she will be perfect for the musical.  She has a beautiful voice.   :)

Yes, it is.  I saw him last night in Gateshead with Transatlantic Sessions.    It was a wonderful show and Mike and John were in the band, as usual too.    :)   Have you ever seen Jerry playing in person, Pottel?

Jerry Douglas is part of Union Station, the band that usually plays with Alison Krauss
