Many people feel kind of lost in this strange era and I'm one of them.
Apparently some people would love to dictate some kind of way of life, and there's not a single day that goes without this gender bullshit debate nowadays.

Biologically speaking we are animals, more precisely mammals. It means 2 genders, not 3, not 1 and not 0.
That strange animal called human sometimes acts as if he refuses to be what he is.

With that said,  we are highly intelligent animals, let's say a different kind of animal. We are capable of using our brain et respect anyone, even other humans who have nothing in common. Some won't,  I agree, but it's not a rule.

I call a woman a woman and a man a man. It doesn't mean shit, I respect anyone at the same level. It shouldn't forbid making jokes. Men make jokes about women and women make jokes about men, hell even women make jokes about other women  (blondes ones mostly), nothing wrong with that if it truly is a joke and not a discrimination attempt.

Life is short, humans shouldn't waste their precious time arguing about a very natural thing, cause we're all different and still all the same somehow, so it's an endless fight and be assured that no one will win this one.

I read somewhere recently that some schools in Britain are stopping calling the children girls and boys - they are now just pupils!  The world is going PC crazy!    We are male and female, girls and boys, ladies and gentlemen, men and women etc!

Yes I saw that too. And not only in Britain
I won't and can't judge if it's a good or a bad thing, but the same logic applies in the army, there are no males or females, there are just soldiers, officers and whatever, everything is neutral. Except that when it comes to scales, there 's a grid for men and a grid for women, and that's where the PC finds its limits obviously.

I have no idea how many of the AMIT members are female and it never bothered me the slightest. It SEEMS there are more men writing and posting. The same at concerts, never counted them but I would say the male part of the aufience is significant higher. Probably because of the guitar hero thing.

So posting at AMIT could automatically happen in a more male environment which might lead to those "clique" behaviour unintentionally.

At the moment the ratio male to female is 3.8:1, but of that number only about three females are actively posting, but the active males are much higher.   Yes, it is much more likely that males would form a clique and I really didn't say "male clique" to offend anyone.  Can we put this behind us now and be friends?    :)

In my opinion, this is the best forum for discussion. Critics, dissatisfaction and whining I thought it would be less, but I'm not afraid of it  ;)

I agree, there are only men and women. I respect whoever wants to be in between but biologically speaking they are still either men or women.

There's a huge argument going on in Brazil about a male volleyball player who played for years in our men's professional league and now plays in the women's league. Needless to say Tiffany (that's 'her' new name), who as Rodrigo (I think that's his given name) was never a top player, is now the biggest scorer in the league. No matter what sort of treatment he goes through, his organs, muscles and bones will always be far stronger and more resistant than any woman's. That's biology, you can't fight it.

Now there are two totally different aspects to be considered. Socially speaking this person has every right to go through this kind of transformation and be accepted and respected as every decent human being must be. However, when you take advantage of that, especially knowing that PC standards will protect you, that's a totally different beast. As you can imagine - even though most people strongly disapprove it - society is mostly mute because if you go public and openly say you're against it every social justice warrior out there will hit you hard.

That's why I think PC is destroying our society.

Just to make things clear, there's no connection between this and any previous discussions we have had here. I'm just telling a story lol

To me, a MK tour is nowadays more an excuse to travel than to see MK playing live so I'll try to do the concerts that:

A/ fits better with flights from where I live
B/ cities I've never been before or I've been and like
C/ dates on weekends, bank holidays or holidays

Mk concert is just the excuse. I'm learning to not care about the "same old setlist blues"
