Vaison 1996 is indeed unbelievably good. Huge coincidence, my mother lives there now and I go visit her every year.

The two concerts I’ve attended were great too, Rio 2001 and Christchurch 2005. Unfortunately I never found any recordings, I’d love to revisit those memories.

Amit as far as I know is a free place where you can express your opinion with freedom. Positive or negative.

Isn't it?

Exactly. You can not tell anyone to leave. This is not very good

Nobody told nobody to leave.

I only said that if you cannot accept negative opinions in a fan forum, a fan forum might be the wrong place to be.

It's the same that respect different opinions. A negative opinion is just a different opinion.

Yes, there is another forum, it's called Silvertown Blues and although it's not as busy as AMIT it is very friendly.    :)

And many of their threads come from things we are talking here :)

Yes, it's a friendly place. Like this, even when somebody tell you what you can say and cannot say ;)

Yes, some of the threads are the same as here, but sometimes different things too.   For example, did you know that there is a new album coming out on 23rd February for MK called "Live in Concert, the Classic Broadcasts"?     ;)

Like Lis, I'm also concerned about this forum - it used to be a place to enjoy, but sadly it has changed .

I don't think it has changed. These things happen from time to time specially when MK make us wait so long  ;D

Yes, there have always been heated arguments, etc, but lately I have almost pressed the exit button, due to bad vibes, but then I think of all the good times and the lovely people I have met and I know that I would miss it very much.   :)    Boredom is the reason, because we have no news, but we musn't let it put off new members from joining.

The thing is that I am also concerned about this forum as it has dramatically changed in terms of culture of discussion and confrontation. Everything is drowned with Policital Correctness which is a true plague of our days. I go directly into confrontation more often now as soon as I detect it. And it is not helpful to read only and never post but come up with that PC bat and attacking posters for it. If you are not take part of discussions it is very easy to nitpick about things like opinions and gender and stuff. If you actively discuss here you will see how hard it is. Each to his/her own of course, but when I read stuff like "I normally do not post here often but I am concerned about bashing or style of discussion.." etc. I really think that is not helpful. (Not addressed to superval) Take part and do something to make it better is my advice.

So I am  concerned about AMIT, too, but from another point of view.
