But maybe it's just my personal problem. Because I see no reason in "using" Mark as a guitar player anyway and never anticipate the release of collaborations like that. My all time favourite MK collaborations is the ones where he sings: What A Wonderful World, Irish Heartbeat, On Raglan Road, The Lily Of The West, etc.
To me "using" Mark as a guitar player is an equivalent of asking Frank Sinatra to play on a triangle in your song. It's possible, yes, but why?
Mark's electric guitar sound works great in his songs, and most of the time he's being used just for the name-dropping reasons to me.
If I were doing a collab with Mark, I'd insist for it to be 1) recorded live in the studio, 2) sung by Mark, 3) preferably composed by Mark.
Of course Mark played guitar with Bob Dylan and his other friends, but this is a natural collaboration to do and not this name-dropping BS.
