Available today.

It's a pity there is not a standard edition with just the studio material with MK involved... I won't buy the expensive edition just for that...

Looks like in Amazon you can buy individually the songs in which MK is featured. Probably in iTunes as well, I didn't checked it.

If you look at the MK diary ( https://web.archive.org/web/20040502210409fw_/http://www.neck-and-neck.com:80/library/diary/diary02.html ), MK was involved in the Slow Train sessions from April to May 1979 so, from the deluxe editions there are only five songs in the disc three with MK:

5.    "Gotta Serve Somebody"    Take 1 - May 4, 1979
6.    "When He Returns"    Take 2 - May 4, 1979
7.    "Ain't No Man Righteous, No Not One" (Unreleased song)    Take 6 - May 1, 1979
8.    "Trouble In Mind"    Take 1 - April 30, 1979
9.    "Ye Shall Be Changed"    Outtake - May 2, 1979

All the rest look like they are played before or after, without MK and Pick Whiters

and if "when he returns" is same version as on the album, it's without Mark and Pick....

Ain't No Man Righteous, No Not One : first listen of this song. Is it Mark on the steel guitar ?
They got a name for people like you, yeh they do
And they got a name for people like me too

It's a different take but just voice and piano, so no MK.

Just four songs.

But I'm not sure if Mk plays is that "trouble in mind" take as it's not listenable at all and in "ain't no man righteous" that slide sounds strange for MK so...

For sure, there are two tracks with MK, and other two doubtful.

From a deluxe version with so many CDs of a period that involved MK in one of the three records covered, there is very little of interest for MK fans here.

Not enough of MK to be worth it as a MK material.
However it's possibly the greatest period of Krusty and we all love him, don't we ? :lol
I've listen to a few tracks and it's good so for me it sounds like a great Christmas gift  ;)

Although I love Mark's work on slow train coming, I wouldn't say it's the greatest period of Mr Bob...

Funny you pointed that out.  ;D
I knew it would be controversial and I hesitated to add my opinion on the best pink floyd period  ::)
