You are quite right. I think it has been scheduled for release more than once before! But this time I get the feeling it might actually happen. Let’s wait and see.

I expect it to be connected to some other form of release, not as a part of it but using PR effects like they did this year (auction/album/EP). There will be another (Live or Soundtrack) Box maybe somewhere around April/May, Best Of, Live Album whatever, and they probably think it's the best time to get rid of the film finally.

Henrick Hansen Documentary
Henrick Hansen, who did the short film for the Tracker album promotion, is to make a Mark Knopfler documentary scheduled for a 2018 release together with an in-concert film featuring live performances from the Tracker tour. A Tracker live album may possibly accompany the documentary.
