Hi all, my very first post here.. but noticed some interesting changes to Henrik Hansen's website (personal and his rsa films site)..
It's now set to release for early 2025 and it's even mentioning a title "One Song at A Time" !
Looks like it's going to be released finally?! or not..  ;)

With MK career probably ended (I don't think we're having any more new music from him, hopefully I'm wrong) it's appropriate than the documentary is finished and ready to be released.

I normally would laugh about any tentative release date for this but as there is nothing else in the future to come, there is a chance this time it's true.
What makes you think he won't do at least one more album?

1. He stopped touring to be more time at home writing songs. The last MK album was finished one year ago (despite being released early next year) and besides some promo stuff, he's been at home since then and he has no plans to start recording for next year, according to Guy.
2. That's the official excuse for no touring but we all know that it's only the official excuse.
3. Even we take the official excuse, when touring, after the last concert, it never took one whole year to start recording at least demos. Yes, sometimes he spent two years to complete recordings, but those were already started as Guy and MK demos.
The ODR album was released in mid-April 2024, so he couldn't possibly work an a new album until then. Only 8 months have passed and he's even slower now at 75 than he was at 64. Give him some time to write and develop what he already has.

If a year from today we get no new developments, then I might start to think he won't ever release something new. ODR might well end up being his last album, but as long as he can still walk and hold a guitar, he will be putting out new stuff, I think.

Exactly!

Thanks for sharing, very exciting update!

I agree with wayaman, I also think it is over, but I certainly don't hope so.
Time will tell....

The record was released this year, yes, but it was finished the fall of the year before, so he had time since then for doing a lot of writing only stopping a bit for promotion just around the corner of his house.

I have no doubt Mark will release another album, he said in interviews about some of the songs on ODR being slow, and the next album should have more uptemo ones. He is a full time song writer now, not a performer, so, what else is he going to to with his time? if his health allows it, or course he will record more songs, he has said before he is compelled to do it, and he doesn't know what else to do.

I am more hopeful that he documentary will be released, now the touring days are over, it gives an end to the film.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Wow, I'm most excited to hear about the HH documentary that will finally be coming our way in the next year.
