It was an interesting question, quite entertaining. The moment I saw "one epic" I knew it had to be Telegraph Road
, and I just went from there.
I think that It Never Rains just seems more sad and defeated than PI. Although the music in PI is a bit darker than in INR, I still think the latter one is more serious in the subject.
That whole album is a work of art. I think this was the best period in Dire Straits existence, this album and the tour ( I love Alchemy
).
