I believe Mark is El Macho indeed, but in the most cases it's the character in the song who speaks, with the most prominent example being "Heavy Fuel". In more "real life" songs, I love that Mark can talk about anything in his songs, and you can have a pretty good idea what song is about, but he write it in such words that you can't find any seKsual context or, say, politics in it, with a little exceptions of course. I know that "Why Aye Man" is technically about Thatcher, but I don't give a damn about it, because it's such a strong song. Same goes with seKsuality in his lyrics, I think.
With that being said, it's sad for me to hear songs like "Terminal Of Tribute To" with insulting, straight lines, as if it was written by someone else.
