OK, just spoke to Dan and Maarten, the pre-gig VIP show was Behind With The Rent, Marbletown and one other song that Martina can't remember (!). They all met Mk and got autographs and stuff too. :)

Home now so can use the laptop.

It was great to go to a MK gig for the first time since 2001 and not know the setlist.  I was in the cheap standing area with my pregnant wife.  Somehow I managed to stand by the stage all night.  On my right were the guitar techs on my left was seated Pete Townsend with an incredible young exotic looking lady :-X
The whole show was predictable compered and Mark was prompted along his set by him.  However MFN and Sultans sounded fresh again.  Loud and almost aggressive.  Why worry was fantastic and the highlight for my wife.  We were also told at the start that it was being filmed for TV.  Interesting.

despite the absolute amateuristic organisation, he performances themselves were top notch.
if this is goodbye for example sounded the best i have EVER heard it., so did going home, brothers and even the short sultans...
even the dreaded sonny liston sounded good. too much talking in between though...
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....
