my son and his girlfriend know the area v well - she lives in Putney and he seems to spend most of his time there(!) - and I'm waiting on some feedback from them. Let's keep the Eight Bells in mind if they don't come up with anything better. Will let you know asap, but likely to be two weeks or so as off on holiday in a few days.

Hi. I need some advice if possible.
I'm still having problems booking a hotel for the night on Sept 9th.
I normally book a travel lodge, but the price on that day seem to have settled around the

Well Nigel,
I have to be at Stanstead Airport for 6am the following morning to get my flight back so I was going to book a hotel close to the airport & do my travelling after the gig (& a few more pints if someone is available) rather than having to get up at the crack of dawn & travel back out from the middle of London

I'm open to any suggestions???

do we know whos going from the forum?Did anyone get any info on a good pub near the venue so we can meet before?? I'd imagine mk.com will be in contact re dress code & tickets in the next week or so,but then again theve not been at their best over the past few weeks - do they even know that its on

BDW,is there anyone at a loose end on the day as I was thinking of doing a bit of a tour
I've never been to the RAH so I was going to go there for a look & I see that British Grove is only a few tube stops away as well so I was thinking of going there for a look also

I'll be in London from about 11.00 in the morning, so i'm happy to meet up with anyone whenever, although i was hoping to go to HMV in Oxford St for a couple of hours around midday, just to pick up some cd's.
