Change the first song for one random disappointing opening song and you nailed it.

Where is the yawn icon when you need it.  I suspect he will, but if MK sticks to the same songs rolled out for the next tour, its going to be REALLY disappointing.  Im actually surprised more fans dont vote with their feet and not attend the shows, with the inclusion of perhaps one or two new songs, the rest of the songs could be any rolled out over the last half a dozen tours.  It makes you question the justification of the ticket price IMHO....

You're quite right, especially after he decided to drop TR - the only thing that made me sit through Marbletown. The linchpin of any Knopfler show.

The manner in which the dates were rolled out last time wasn't great last time either.

The fact that TR was dropped for the last leg of the US tour (the most tiring song to play at the end of an tiring tour) does not mean it is dropped forever. Remember that Sultans was almost totally dropped in 2013 - only to be back at every show in 2015...

What kind of album do you think the next album will be?  :hmm  :D

A single, double, triple, quadruple, quintuple, sextuple, septuple, octuple, nonuple, decuple, hendecuple, duodecuple or even a centuple album?

Chris Rea put out once a hendecuple album. (11 discs)

Hopefully a good one!

Tracker had so many songs altogether that it would be ok to have a single album like that but with full 80 min. 9 outstanding good songs with no fillers and no recycling mode on let's say 45 min. would also be fine with me.

I wonder who is the author of the photo for the cover of the new album. Kitty Aldridge? I would like. I love the photo with Tracker.

Album covers taken with an iPhone is a trend nowadays. Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Brian Wilson to name a few.
