 All answer to commercial questions...

Hot dog is only available in MediaMarkt Germany version as it guarantee an exclusive, any fan that wants that song has to buy that version.

Same happened with "time in the sun" and "early bird" that were exclusive bonus in digital purchase from iTunes and Amazon and you had to buy the whole digital record to just get the bonus.

Commercial strategies.

Me, by the way, prefer to buy something material, like the MediaMarkt cd, digital files are something too... Untouchable. I'm an old fashion man.

Mk has very little to do with this. He delivers to the record company the songs that will feature in the record, and the record company ask him for bonus tracks to the different editions and exclusive. The record companies are the ones that decide the commercial strategies to follow with that extra material to get all the money they can from us in as much different ways as they can.

The record company will respect his choice for the album itself, but Mark will leave it to them to do with what he decides to be "bonus".

I wish Ed was back in charge.  He'd have all this sorted out in the best interest of the fans and ensure the right songs were on the album in the first place too.

The more Ed the better! lol

But it's true, PCM seems to be a puppet.

Where is Ed now? How was he? I've met  PC a cuple of times (very briefly) and he was nice towards me, but it seems Ed was a more "fan friendly" manager?

I met Ed at the Golden Heart concert in Leeds and he was very nice to me.   He was standing next to me at the concert - he signed my tour book and made sure that I could see OK, because I was surrounded by some very tall people.    :)

Actually with Ed we never got so much bonus, at least during DS years... During the GH era we got four extra tracks in the cdsingles.

He left MK before the STP release.

Ian Thomas is on tour with Michael Landau next month.
Not sure for tourdates later this year. Perhaps something to keep up with because of possible MK tour oktober november   :think

Wolfgang:

"About the MK album: Title, track list, artwork? When? Hopefully soon?

I wonder what Guy Fletcher's answer will be  :)

Perhaps, with Guy you'll never know....
