I wonder why no one is discussing Guy's answer that "It's not a secret project as such"? This answer seems boring to me, so don't expect much.

This answer refers to the question about SpaceX. And besides, fans called it a "mysterious project" no one else

"As Such" is because it's secret just because they can't talk about it yet. It's something they are working on from september 2016 more or less and it looks they have still work to do about it.

Actually, we talked a lot about it and in the end we got to know what exactly by many clues but we keep it quiet until they decide to mention. You just have to read in this same thread and you'll find what it is  ;D

We are still working on it and therefore, no release dates exist, as yet.

The fact that they have a completion date scheduled in March means that they have a schedule, so, there are not release date announced, but I'm sure they have one planned and a tour also planned, but, as always delays can happen, they won't announce anything until they end working in the new record.

To go back a little bit, the best rock and roll pianist MK worked with was Geraint Watkins. For the plinky stuff, not so much.

Best all rounder IMO is Matt Rollings. No surprise that he continues to be the most in demand session player out of all of them.

Yes, Watkins has a name by himself, but I don't know why, I don't like what he did with MK. He was good, I'd say correct, but I don't know why, I didn't like him.

I do not agree entirely about Geraint Watkins, to me he's not up to MK's level, he's seems a nice chap and an ok rock'n'roll pianist but I think the likes of Matt Rollings and Jim Cox are in an entirely other leage. They are so much more diverse and able to play even the most complicated things seemingly effortless. Personally I think Jim might be the best but Matt tends to be more disciplined with regard to the 'song is king' approach.

Maybe I'm the only one but I really liked Geraint.

He played a great cajun accordion and got so into his soloing that he almost fell off his stage riser in either Copenhagen or Stockholm. Can't recall precisely.

Have there been better musicians? Yes. But you can't beat such stage presence. Jim Cox o.t.o.h. has the aura of a biology teacher. :)

I agree.  He had a good stage presence.  I thought he was quite amusing with his accordion in tow and his work on things like Junkie Doll was pretty impressive.

Biology teacher.   :lol :lol
