Not really willing to step into Legacy territory once again but maybe this whole tribute issue encouraged Mark to revisit his DS roots in terms of songwriting.

I'd say that the tribute issue is done for him with his song "Terminal Of Tribute To". If he revisit his DS past would be because he wants to, not because there are tribute bands using the name.

As a songwriter (not comparing myself to Mark of course) I can say that there's no logic to that. When I say it might have encouraged Mark to revisit his roots I mean that in case he's written songs that were subconsciously influenced by this situation or just happen to be DS-like he might not discard them as he would before these events. Perhaps Beryl is an example...
