No Tour in 2017- - all but confirmed in Richard Bennet's diary...

Sad....

The very first contact I made was Mark K. and got his blessing as it looks like a quiet year for touring.  :'( :'( :'(

Maybe MK doesn't need Richard for what he's gonna do next year... That it doesn't have to be a tour as such...

With what he would tour, anyway? A world tour in support for "Altamira" soundtrack? :)

Yeah, always forward, never look back. This is the best band I've ever been in. Best tour ever. Best songs Mark's ever written.

Guy is more repetitive than a mockingbird with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Guy does what he wants, blah, blah blah :)

Speaking of which, very refreshing to see Richard calling Neil Diamond his boss. Rather unusual statement, and very down to earth.

Could you imagine Guy calling MK his boss? I guess only over someone's dead body! :lol

Why is it unusual? And do we know that Guy doesn't call MK his boss? And why should he, they have been working *together* for 33 years... Come on, you (all) should be nice to him  ;) :)  It's that time of the year  ;D

Yeah, I know, you're right... I loved Guy's work before he became Mark's "right hand" and he get more and more power, which sometimes cool and sometimes isn't, as I think.

Mark's own right hand is much better :lol :lol

He's up to something that's for certain. Can't imagine not going on stage in some shape or form, however. He's always said that he gets as much a kick out of this element of the business as others. Mark Knopfler All Star Band is my two-penneth!! (For those overseas 'two-penneth' means a very old two pennies in UK old money and it means 'my contribution!') Would be a nice Xmas pressie to we fans to know something, me thinks!  ::)

I love how Mark's new song "Playtime Deluxe" sounds VERY much like this one from BB.

Arrangements are so close :clap
