I still can't get into Guy's Instagram... what the heck? I want to see a photo of MK Signature Les Paul... By the way, guitars are 1935 Martin D-18, 1937 D'Angelico Excel, 1953 Gibson Southerner Jumbo, 1938 Gibson Advanced Jumbo, 2008 Monteleone Isabella, 2003 Fender Mark Knopfler Signature Stratocaster.

He put a picture of the Led Paul signature as well, check his instagram and you will see it

It's funny that he's actually going to recuop all the money this guitar worth and will do it with ease. As he did with his original Les Paul which can easily be like $500,000, but he definitely was made this money out of it many times. After all it's just an instrument, and Mark is the master of it.

What the hell are they doing over there??  Almost 3 months in de studio now and we still dont know??
I think MK wants to give us a new album and tour announcement on the same day  :thumbsup
Should be something like: New album is ready and will be out on...... Also a new tour will follow and it will start on ....................

Please don't throw stones at me, but to me Tracker was rushed a little bit... so it's great he finally take some time to make a record.

As long as it will be his best record of 2010s, I'm willing to wait for another year of making it.

I won't throw stones ;-) But I'm curious to know why you think Tracker was rushed.

I think it was due to Mark's almost no-free-time schedule. See, even another tour (!) interrupted the recording sessions of Tracker, schedule was just insane. To me personally, Mark was over the top here as well as over the top in making Privateering a double album. While it can look amazing in news (First double album! Hey! And it might be even a triple album!) in practice wasn't so well for me. I'd prefer stripped down, refined, less bluesy version of Privateering with less randomness in tracks, it almost gives me the feeling of a compilation album.

I know many people would argue with me, and that blues fits very well, "Kingdom Of Gold" is a great opener for the second disc or something along those lines, but it didn't work so well for me. While I love separate songs from the album, I barely listen it all in one sitting, which I can do with his regular albums.

And Tracker continue this series of experiments from Mark. Nothing wrong with experiments, but you never know where it can lead you. You may even start to play "Broken Bones" as an opener! :lol

Tracker is a fantastic album and chronically underplayed on the tour.If anything he took too long making it and forgot how to play some songs that were on it.

I think Mark takes as long as he wants to make what he feels is the best album he can at the time, looking back he probably feels he could have done every album better, but there has to be an end point. Not sure I would call Privateering rushed, don't forget Bob Dylan came calling for a tour in the middle of things too, and was a good thing as it gave Mark the chance to write more songs for Tracker. On and off Privateering was recorded over about 9 months, in these days of music releases that is a long time.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

As an "earliest shows of the tour attender" I don't felt that it was underplayed.
