Is the secret project nog something MK was asked to do. They were also asked to keep it out of the radar for the public... Did Guy not say this on his forum about the project?

The secret project IS NOT the tracker documentary.

It is something we don't know yet, which is not announced yet because it doesn't depend on MK.

So we have the new MK CD, the documentary with a part of live performances, maybe a live CD and the secret project.

I have the feeling that MK will be playing live before December in some kind of special night, maybe like the Bill Wyman birthday, maybe like the History Festival or (I hope is this...) a kind of MK and friends.

Double that...

By the way, as someone just stated on Guy's forum, 2018 is actually the 40th anniversary of Mark's first album ever :-\

Hmmmm... :o :o :o

They completed the first album in March too!

That's just a list of past performers, it says the cast list is never released beforehand. So I'd be very surprised if MK is performing.

I really can't understand why he wouldn't release a live album. Put it on streaming music services and people will listen, get some money. Look at John Hiatt. He has a ton of live recordings on Spotify. Same with Bryan Adams, Bob Dylan. MK management is just walking behind the time, they've only just now discovered YouTube. 99,9% will stream music/video. I don't even have a DVD/Bluray player anymore.

They were relatively quick in releasing concerts as recordings after the show finished. But yes, in general they are a bit slow with everything

He's played song for sammy before when he had the mickey taken by Alan Shearer I think. "Play your hit, man", which was local hero.
So no I can't see him playing there again soon.

My guess is there will be a 2018 tour but it will be small. Smaller venues and a lot less dates. The big gigs are pretty much done now I think. Looking at falling attendances over the past 3 tours he isn't even half filling some of these arenas. Some of the GH venues are probably too small so I'd say there will be more focus on RAH, bridgewater hall in Manchester, Newcastle city hall etc rather than the huge warehouses.

Oh and lots of time off for writing and the 2 week
Holiday right in the middle of dates too!

But hey if he's still doing that at nearly 70 then good on him!!

Did you attend the last tour actually?

The O2 arena in London was almost full, also the Gent Arena in Birmingham. In Spain there were some sold outs...
