IMO anithing that is not a new album, new songs, is disappointing  :think :think

I can't imagine finding new songs - a new album - disappointing... It would be great if you'd ask me.

Included an unreleased songs project? :p

It seems new songs, Bonfire Night  etc.. Sure that I'd be happy, but IMO too silent and no clear signals at the moment... :think :think :think

I wouldn't be surprised if Mark decided to revisit some of the new songs after he got his own LP.

Guy has already stated Mark has written all the songs, so what is there to be disappointed about?
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

OK!
At now nothing of official.
When, who knows when, we'll have specific info we can stay happy!!
My disappointing, like other people on this forum, is the silent and (I know that Guy tell 'all songs by MK') don't understand the smokiness of the project....It can be everything and the opposite of everything.
how many songs? songs like 'tall order baby and El macho? or like Sailing to Philadelphia & So far from the Clyde?

Guy posted a photo on IG with the title: 'sampling'.
I have very little knowledge of these things.
What does sampling mean? And how far in the proces do you sample?

Yeah, I saw it. He uses samples a lot in the live shows, but what to do with them in the studio? I have no idea...

Also, Guy's laptop is bigger than Mark's! It's an interesting observation, don't you think?

Official news...
MK will be releasing a new album, focused primarily on the first four DS albums.
Title yet to be confirmed but it will be a 'how they should have sounded' feel.
Expect covers of six blade knife etc but with mark just strumming away and all the leads taken by the fiddle twins!
The later DS stuff will be reworked with Nigel on sax just to prove he's better than Chris White.
Just a thought!
And no, not official news, just a bit of fun!

I think Mark may be involved in a reinterpretation of John Cages 4.33. Can you imagine the technology and precision needed to record such perfect silence  ;)

Unfortunately, MK already composed and recorded a song entitled "Money For Nothing" :lol
