Thank you, Satinbeaus, for answering my post.  I have just printed all the PDFs and will attempt to play one of the pieces -- whichever one looks easiest!  None of them will be easy for me but when I get frustrated, I'll listen to your playing, and that will motivate me to keep practicing.  Practice makes perfect, as they say ::)   Thank you again for sharing your music scores and the videos.

Hi,

I just want to let you know how much I appreciate your beautiful music.  I converted your videos into MP3 and have now dedicated a folder in my MK collection for your MK covers.  I've been playing them for the past many days several times a day along with MK of course.  The music is so soothing, relaxing and inspiring. My 11 year old will attempt all the pieces I printed on PDF during the spring break next week and I shall let you know.  Heck, I am so inspired to even want to try my hands on TOL.   We hope you will have more for us to enjoy.  Thanks so very very much. :)

Hi!

I have been very busy last time but finally found the time to record another video.
It is not exactly like the original, there are some changes to avoid too much repetitions....
This cover can be used as backing track to sing along or to play the lead guitar. As always I have made a piano transcription (downloadable for free) for the pianists who want to play the song. Comments are welcome.

Absolutely amazing stuff Satin - keep it up - and only rest when every single MK song has been arranged! :-)

They will be great for singing along to in the car that's for sure!

Hallo everybody,

it's a long time since I posted here last time, but an incredible series of things has happened in my already chaotic life...

Well this is my last work, not the best version I could do but not that bad anyway...

Hope you enjoy it.

For Musicians and Pianists: I will make a score transcription as soon as possible, please be patient  :)

I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

Cheers,
Satin Beaus

Great indeed. TOL is superb!!

SOS is good too, but the "twiddly bits" are kinda strange to me, I mean not the way you play it, but the tones. I don't want to criticize or anything or maybe my hearing failed me, but isn't there a change in original solo when the chords change from Dminor to #A?  (roughly F, D, A, D  to  F, D,#A, D) Just curious, hope I am not being too rude... :)

Thank you all for the nice comments  :)

@BoboDS,
this is a piano cover, not a piano copy  ;)
By the way I never play F or A, quite the whole final live solo is based on Dm - Bb - C
F and A are played only in the verses...  :)
Anyway, as always I use to made some changes to make a special pianistic arrangement, so instead of:
Dm (4/4) - Bb (4/4) - C (8/4) x 2

I play
Dm (4/4) - Gm (4/4) - C (4/4) - Am (4/4)
Dm (4/4) - Bb (4/4) - C (8/4)

Hope this is helpful.

Cheers,

Yeah I know it's cover, sorry.  :-X     :)

We kinda don't understand each other.
I know that the f and a CHORDS are played during the verses. But I meant the specific TONES in the "twiddly bits" (da feymoos solo) you know, when the chords change from Dm to Bb, solo guitar changes from playing (roughly speaking) F, D, A, D tones to F, D,#A, D tones. [and finally (C chord) C E G E tones].

OK now I understand what you mean...  :)

Well you know that music has its rules...one basic harmonic rule is that sequence octaves should be avoided.
At that specific point my left hand plays the octave Bb (do not call it A#, it's not the same and it's wrong). If I play Bb with the right hand too, I create a chord made up of 3 Bb, this is horrible, sounds bad and must be absolutely avoided (if you do this in the music academy, they send you home immediately...).

Using different instruments such problems quite do not exist, this is what I mean when I say that this is a piano arrangement and not a copy. It must fit the instrument and add something to the original.

Cheers,
Satin Beaus

P.S.: For further information I think it's better if you send a PM, I guess it could be boring to keep always this topic up, it interests only the few...

Thank you sooooo much. It's been a long time since you have something new on Youtube. I love all your Mark's cover.  I play them regularly at my house.  It's just so nice to hear them.

Satin,

Will you please post here when you have the music notes up ?  This part of the piano solo original and your cover is my most favorite/most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard in my life.  Really.  I absolutely love it.

Thanks so much. !
