oh if only Mark would open up the way David does in this AMAZING documentary/interview.
amazing insights, even for a floyd buff like me
i havethe whole thing, 1 hour and 11 minutes long
VERY private interview, playing demos, never before heard stuff, truly awesome
can share if anyone wants.
and then a normal interview, but also very interesting and revealing. way shorter though
Yes
Just think at the live official material released for the 2006 tour... more than what MK released for all his tours in the last 20 years...
Hum Hum you forgot the bleeker street recording
Mark Knopfler wins by 100 to 1.
no man
first of all those are raw recordings which can't compete at all with officially engineered recordings,
for example when I listen to the final solo of TR It sounds more like he is playing a 100 euros guitar than a Pensa, really crap outcome.
then you have the video part which is completely and totally missing
true. and if you know what is coming from this tour? wroclaw, RAH, Pompei....aaahhh....
again, i am talking the snippets of demos, the family stuff (am not interested in nitty gritty details, but just, to see the man behind the music, yes, it does interest me) the deep answers on basic questions--> do you miss your mum? no, don't think so, i mean, she tried to be there more when she got older, but i was like, get away, away,....that is what she should have done when i was five....
that shows how deep the interview goes. also, the way he describes how he got to faces of stones...
heartbreaking
anyone want the docu?
