I love this documentary, it's so great they had all the band speaking rather than just Mark. Essentially, they're all his fans who got to play.
Two things I miss — Chuck, such a great man! Certainly he's as good in sound design as Mark in songwriting. What a good team it was!
Second — interesting how they would start a documentary with a B-Side and missed the songs like "5:15 a.m."

Just decided to revisit A LIfe In Songs documentary, it's not like I never seen it, but some lines I've missed somehow, like this:

What I try to do with a song—is craft it.

I try to craft a song with pride and I try to make something that's going to last.

I think that's one of the most beautiful things he could possibly say about his work.

So it seems YouTube now has a new version of "verified account" sign for music channels. Looks pretty strange and amateur-ish to me. Simple check mark is way better... By the way, there's almost whole 2007 Berlin show on the channel. I was very happy when it ended up on his channel.
