I know a lot of guys who are working for TV and radio channels, and they have never talked about recording several concerts to make one appearance on TV or radio. I dont think the artist would have agreed with that either..

How do we know that the footage for The Tube special is entirely from the July 10th show anyway? It's not mentioned anywhere in the broadcast and we don't have recordings of each Wembley show from that run to compare to. Could it be that a song or two was edited in from a different night?
I don't think the whole band wore the same t-shirts every nights so I would say it is a single concert recording.
Anyway, the alchemy video is from the 2 nights at the hamemrsmith (only solid rock is from the night before) and the video likes was from one performance...

Take a look at 'On The Night', recorded at Feyenoord Stadium, Rotterdam and Les Arenes, Nimes. During both nights they wore the same clothing. During some of the songs you'll see footage from both venues during one song.

Years ago I found by complete accident an audience recording of the Alchemy night, so knows what will surface next and when...Well, quite a few of those Wembley shows are circulating. We already have circulating the nights: 4th, 8th, 11th, 15th and 16th. You never know! The 13th would be interesting as it is the same day the did Live Aid in the afternoon.
