Great when the author read us and write in the forum, is like when Jack Sonni or Tommy Mandel ended writing here!

Any chance of an English version?

Dunno. It depends on the sales and on the english readers and publishers. My publisher can't have the book translated in english just in case !

it's really really nice to read and converse with the author of a book about our favorite artist.
Jbaent is right, it's like discussing with members of the band !
(Ed King, the guitarist from Lynyrd Synyrd talks on his forum and answers directly to fan's questions., about his gear, his compostions in songs, anecdotes, etc... Imagine if we could ask directly to Mark....)

I was indeed at the Lyon gig 1992. I was 21.
the feeling described in the book is globaly the same I had : the 1st time I saw my hero, but with some disappointment....

About the setlist, I am 100% sure about telegraph road, no TOL for sure.
I'm sure for Solid rock too.
I am quite (let's say 90%) sure for BIA
as for Portobelle Belle, I'd say there is 1% chances... I am not 100% sure it was not played
And of course I am sure for all other "classic" songs

What is very intriguing is this gig in Lyon in september 92 ?
As far as I know, at this time DS played in les Arènes de Nimes (the gig was broadcasted on french TV Channel "Canal+"), but Lyon ? strange .... :think

Does anyone have heard about this gig ?

I have a copy of the tour schedules and, according to this, they did indeed play Lyon again on 22nd and 23rd of September 1992 in Halle Tony Garner.

The televised Nimes gig was on the 29th and they played a couple of nights in Montauban (25th, 26th) in between.

Yes indeed. I didn't know (or didn't remember) they came back in Lyon in september, but Jeroen listed it in his "tour dates" page, and Arnaud posted the ticket in the french thread :
