Nigel, what are the most popular trainers at the moment.

I usually go for Adidas Superstar, a classic design that will surely never go out of fashion.

Trainers are really big at the moment.
Most popular styles are:

Adidas
Onitsuka Tiger
Lacoste
K.Swiss
Nike
Converse

We have some GREAT new adidas superstars at the moment.

I take it you don't like True Love Will Never Fade or This Is Us either then.

Ha, touche.

I guess I just don't have a problem with lyrics being repeated, as long as the music goes somewhere. And the music on this one, like a lot of "dance" or chill-out or whatever, doesn't really go anywhere, just the same thing repeated.

Well, I said that I thought things would slow down, but I didn't expect them to slow down so quickly!

Seeing as nobody else has, I'll make another recommendation:

Cory Branan. I don't know much about this guy and I kind of stumbled on him by accident. I heard a song by him called "Crush" on a podcast and it really stuck in my head, so I sought out the album it came from, The Hell You Say. Here's Crush:

http://www.last.fm/music/Cory+Branan/The+Hell+You+Say/Crush

I think it's a great song, and in fact the whole album is fantastic. He's a singer songwriter in the alt-country/Americana vein with some really great lyrics that are quite different to a lot of other stuff out there. Mostly acoustic but a few electric tunes on the album too, like this one:

Another great tune from this album:

Anyhoo, check it out, it's a great album.

OK, this thread seems to have died a death.

Anyhoo, I heard a fantastic track by Chris Isaak on teh radio called Cheater's Town.

I went and got the album, called "Mr Lucky".

Funnily enough, I put it on my iPod at the same time as Get Lucky. I have to be honest, and say that as good as Get Lucky is, so far I've been enjoyinging Mr Lucky even more.

I can't find anywhere online to listen to Cheater's Town, so just take my word for it. :)

I used to like Isaak's music, but sadly, I learned of his personality from former friends, and I just have a difficult time with him now.   Like Mel Gibson.   I used to think the was the sexiest thing on earth (next to Robert Redford and Dusty.)   Now, after his outbursts I can't stand to look at him.    I should be more forgiving.   No one's perfect.  Least of all me.
But a spoonful of forgiveness
Goes a long, long way
And we all should do our best
To get along

I really liked "The Wicked Game", but then he seemed to go into comedy and I really couldn't take him seriously anymore.   :-\

Ha, I don't know anything about his personality so I can just enjoy his music. Same with Wagner. ;)

I bought the album that has Wicked Game on ita while ago, because that is an amazing track (and video Pottel!), but to be honest I got bored half way through the album and I've never listened to all of it.

But Mr Lucky is great.
