As a french I cannot stand this stupid SNCF (railways national company) jingle to announce stupidities...
As a french I thank theSNCF to keep us informed eventhrough a "stupid" jingle.

It took me quite a long time, but in the end, I have uploaded my pictures of David Gilmour at the Royal Albert Hall, last night.

Made from the choir section, so don´t expect to see the circle here:

I would never go with tickets over 40-50 Euros. And that is stretching it. It means 2-3 days of work, if I can get a job.  Why not play bigger venues or more concerts? Roger Waters did it and despite the second time around in Athens, of "The Wall" the stadium was 1/3 full only, he didn't cancel.  I know Pink Floyd fans are countless and everybody wants a ticket, but pricing desire so high ruins it for me. In the end only a few that can afford it,  get to see their favorite musicians.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Strange feeling because I am unhappy to have missed it but I would have probably not done the travel anyway.

Actually this my little frustration of downsizing my concert goer capability.

But I was in Vienne in 2006 and that one will probably remain in my top 5 "all time favourite attended show".

there is a brilliant video (also a bluray one) of the orange show:

DG Orange Multicam 1080p Full HD Version (The Red Rabbit Edition)
 Hello friends,

This is a new multicam video of DG performance in Orange Theater (France), description is below:

David Gilmour Live at Theatre Antique d'Orange 2015/09/17
 By The Red Rabbit Team

This is an 1080P Full HD video multicam based on various rushes provided by some members of french forums and from Yeeshkul forum, thanks to them.

There is no authoring, just nearly the entire show, (band introduction and The Girl in the Yellow Dress are missing), some visual effects were added, nice to appreciate.

Sound is from roio "We Love You David" made by FLG, link in Yeeshkul is:

 Enjoy!

Cannot believe that this gentleman and guitar god has been turning 70. Here's to many years to come! All the best!  :wave

Hum, his solo stuff mostly sounded weak compared to the PF material.
Eventually I do prefer the 2006 format because once the solo stuff performed (and OAI was better than the RTL album) well the rest of the show was nothing but fan-tas-tic.

nope
do not agree
i feared a 2006 weak fort halve, and was nothing but amazed. well mixed, well balanced choice of songs (even though i did miss echoes..)
his new album is FAR better then OAI
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....
