Not quite official I think but:

David Gilmour plays in Cologne in front of the famous cathedral on July 07th

Der Kölner Dom

I got tickerts fot the last RAH show, that is also the last European show of this little tour, and the seats are located in the chorus!

I hope that from my position in the chorus, I don´t miss most of the visual efects. That seats are more or less sided, so you are not completely behind them, but I have some fears to miss an important part of the show.

Youtube clip taken from the Chorus section.  Opposite side from where I sat but pretty similar view.  When I was there there were a lot of empty seats and the usher said I could choose any seat once the show started!

"...and I blew up the radio in pretty short order."

I was at the RAH on 26th and the Chorus section wasn't occupied.  This clip was probably taken from the stalls nearest to the stage.

sounds good...

Thank you for letting me know.
Sounds good.
Yes thanks ! The show of my life, as i missed 94 and 2006...sounds great !
Now looking forward to Roger's show next year..
I'm angry with David, as much as i love him, for not pushing the reconciliation to the exgent of reuniting PF... We can bitch all day about Roger being an asshole, but this asshole was able to admit he was wrong, to truly forgive and display good will of reforming..  David just agreed to play together once in a while... Too bad. We need both the soul and the sound !

Hmmm. Psychologically  it might be the case (as with Bonham) but if we have to put honesty above all, in the latter PF days, Rick was just a paid musician, at his own admittance. Truth is that what we have in our minds is a distilled and compact history of the relation and explorations of four men for nearly 20 years (and 50 years of their life), in a few hours of carefully constructed studio recordings. Come to think of it, isn't it weird that PF never issued an official  real live album since 1983?
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

imho ricks organ and piano work was crucial to any part in floyd history, just as is Dave'S guitar and musicianship, Nicks' drumming  and Rogers Bass&lyrics...
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

no rick, no floyd herlock.
True Pottel, we do agree on this, I also think Rick's contributions were great and understated. Hence no Echoes this year, I stupidely missed it in 2006 :/
My anger still stands for the years 2005-2008 though, can you imagine if David's On a Island tour and Roge's DSOTM tour had been merged into one single Floyd reunion tour ?

Both Dave and Roger are not keen on meeting themselves halfway.

Moreover Dave seem to really have turned the PF brand down now like Mark has done with DS for the same result : they still play some old material and this is the stuff that got the biggest answer from the public.

Roger has expressed several times that he would'nt mind restoring Floyd.
Yes Dave has turned the PF brand down, like Mark with DS, btut unlike DS, Dave's current band is very similar to what PF used to be under his leadership in 94. Makes me wonder why turning down the brand... especially from somebody who faught so hard to keep it in 87 ! Anyway...
