It's always great when you can get your eyesight fixed and enjoy a concert at the same time!  8)

I'm leaving to Orange in a few hours ... Can't wait ! I resisted the temptation to listen to recordings not to be spoiled... But I have seen the setlists ! Great, only miss the great "Echoes", but this is understandable that it is not played without Rick...

Better that than colonoscopy!

I got tickerts fot the last RAH show, that is also the last European show of this little tour, and the seats are located in the chorus!

I hope that from my position in the chorus, I don´t miss most of the visual efects. That seats are more or less sided, so you are not completely behind them, but I have some fears to miss an important part of the show.

I've been in the chorus section before and was looking over Guy Fletcher's shoulder all night.  It wasn't as bad as I thought and Mark did turn round more than I expected so I did see the front of him but I wouldn't expect to witness the light show.  You do get a unique view of the concert from the musicians point of view though and this unique view may extend to the light show.  Hope you enjoy your show.

Some more things

He plays 70% of the new album... 7 songs out of 10.. and always... in any concert.. there are no songs that suddenly disappear without reason... (last tour in 2006 it was 100% ....)

and there's no 'we have to take a flight before midnight' crap... he plays about 2.30h-2.35h net + 20 minutes break so about 3 hours gross until midnight from 9pm..

MK takes a 10-15 min break too;  it's called Marbletown.

Short answer: I got blown away. Serious competition for Mark ;) a great mix of old and new. Very pleasantly surprised by the new album, quite rocking and maybe more Floydish than the endless river... Great light show, even if I was slightlly disappointed that the big circle was not used to project images like in 1994.
A great time with ds1984 and his friends...I wanted to see both Roger and Dave in my life, now I have seen Roger in 2011 and Dave in 2015, I am at peace :) only regret is the lack of Echoes, David wouldn't do it without Rick, which I respect... I was stupid enough to miss the great 2006 tour ! But as a consolation, we've got a more energetic SOYCD than in 2006 ! :)

So pumped for this show.  Managed to get 1 set of tickets to see him here in canada.  Not many shows listed for north america, especially canada.
