I once played in a small band (a singer/guitar and me on drums) and we tried the Johny Cash version of Depeche Mode´s "Personal Jesus", we liked it quite a lot and decided to move a step forward and play drums in a heavy metal way in the second part of the song and play distorsion on guitar... it was amazing!
No recording of it, and the band is no longer in existence, although the two band members we are still the best of friends
