Almost missed the train but ok now, with 1 minute margin: Sir Paul came 1h10 late and stayed on stage for almost 3 hours !! I am amazed with this 72-year old man, looking as if he was 40, and singing and playing as if he was 30, and teasing the crowd as if he was a teenager. He is immortal, just like the Beatles music, so timeless than even youngsters sing Michele, Let it Be, Yesterday or Hey Jude ! Beatles is the common taste I have with my mother
Serious competition for Mark, albeit in a very different style. Ingrid is perfectly right, all the songs are timed to last exactly 4 minutes, so you can fit loads of them. 41. Paul followed exactly the same setlist as in Marseille with only one exception. It was great to have this setlist on my iPhone to help me not getting confused with all these Beatles/Wings/solo songs !
Paul litterally set fire to the sated de a France (fireworks and smoke in Love an let die). He sings, plays guitar, piano, the fool, runs, joke in french, in english, invites a girl on stage for a hug, put back his shirts in his pants, at times you feel it's a sand up comedy
but it's real, ambitious, megalomaniac even, show, with big screens, projections of photos and animations, lights all over the place, looking like a Roger Waters or Pink Floyd show !
Paul blew me away, he never ages, he looks and play the same than 18 years ago on the Montserrat concert. A real genius... Acting like a 12-year old
