I also attented many MK shows, and heard TR many times and had to wait until Alan Clark and Chris White formed The Straits to listen Tunnel Of Love live...

Also during the MK and friends concerts, MK played Your Latest Trick, that I never heard live, except the day I attended the concert, that day he choosed Baloney Again instead, that I've heard too many times already... The Straits played also Your Latest Tricks for me.

Ironic that The Straits amended my expectations when I attend a MK concert, but they playing that songs were better than MK not playing them.

Ironic indeed.  Most of us moan about them, or some aspect of them, but at the end of the day they play music that pleases the majority of the crowd first and foremost and not music that that pleases themselves.  :think :think :think

I saw the Straits twice last year. I thoroughly enjoyed the shows. They did a fabulous job  :thumbsup I had an incredible time. Me and my ffriends got to hang out with Chris White  , Terrence and the rest of the band after the show. That would never ever happen with MK.  Best of all I got to hear DS songs played live because I never had the opportunity to. You could imagine when TOL was played. I was the happiest soul on the planet those two nights.

They played sultans, walk of life, so far away and Romeo.

And two more songs: Your Latest Trick and Local Hero.

Your latest Trick could be one for the next tour when Nigel is around i think......
But he wil not be Antwerp  :smack :smack :smack :smack :smack

Does anybody know who played second guitar and bass?

Second guitar is Robbie McIntosh, the bass player looks like Dave Bronze to me, but i´m not sure.
Will they also be part of this year's tour band line up?

No. Same line up than in 2013.

Sax replacing Paul Franklin's solo on WOL I see.  Perhaps on the upcoming tour...

I do not see the point of playing YLT only for the VW gig in Amsterdam. Last time they did that one  was more 20 years ago.
I think it will be one for the next tour..

Some of the 2002 charity gigs so 13 years.  I think he played it at other gigs of this sort though. What was the Range Rover set again?

Edit:  walk of life, sailing to bla bla, romeo, sultans, MONEY FOR NOTHING, brothers, local hero, so far away.

So no YLT then!  Maybe at another PR gig or the Scottsdale one.

I don't think we ever did get the set but there were videos of Sultans and BIA.  And a great version of BIA it was too.

Sorry for my scepticism, but I strongly doubt it.
For the life of me I can't believe he'll play Your Latest Trick within a framework of the upcoming tour, that's a thing from quite a different opera.
Most likely VW made them such an offer, that was hard to refuse.
Well, maybe some ladies of a certain age, who are always thrilled with this song, were there.  :)
