One Lucky Kitten

Published on Apr 9, 2015

At 8:00am Easter Monday we found this little kitten lying face down on a pathway, which cuts through a park near home. It was the coldest, wettest & all round worst night for ages. We thought the kitten was a pile of wet rags. As we got closer we saw a "dead" kitten with no sign of life totally soaked to the skin, so we picked it up to place on the grass next to the path to avoid it being stepped on or run over by bicycles which traverse the park. As we picked it up it's head moved. It was still alive. After 4-hours inside a coat and being placed on a heat bag it began to show signs of life. Three days later it is watching Alchemy on a PC.

But it's written in the starlight and every line on your palm, we're fools to make war on our brothers in arms.

Yes we called it "Spud". That is what it looked like on the pathway that morning.
